BMA Gonyalla Riverside Mine have been using hardfacing patterns by Bob Little of Hardfacing Australia on their dragline bucket teeth for several years now and life of the teeth has increased by 6 times that of the same teeth used in similar circumstances without hardfacing. The down time of the machine has also subsequently been drastically reduced and therefore production has been increased enormously.
